There is a wide variety of topside paints to choose from, the least expensive of which are the enamel paints. These paints are rarely used anymore on quality fiberglass finishes. Polyester paints offer do-it-yourselfers an easy solution to making older boats look better. However, these finishes are not as durable and only last two or three years. If your objective is to protect your investment and enjoy a quality yacht, then we recommend using Awlgrip products for refinishing your boat. Awlgrip offers a variety of colors and products to apply paint over wood, metal and fiberglass. To achieve a mirror like finish we use top quality, air-less spray guns and several coats of paint and/or clear coat finishes.
