Topside Refinishing...
Our paint shop uses the finest products to refinish the top sides of all yachts. We use Awlgrip, a premier brand of urethane topcoats, to ensure the quality of our work. Awlgrip offers boat owners a wide variety of color and products that can adhere to wood, fiberglass, aluminum and metal. Whenever possible, we try to repair or restore the boat manufacturer's original gelcoat. Over time, gelcoat does become porous and can no longer be brought back to its original luster. At this time it is more cost effective to refinish the boat using the Awlgrip products. As with other painting projects, surface preparation is the key to a perfect finish. Therefore, repairs must be made prior to applying a new topside finish.
